Science Summercamp - Information on Science Summer Camps

What's the perfect way to spend your days during the summer school break?  Well, summercamp is always a great idea.  Of course, here at Science-Ideas, we love science, and so we're not focused on ordinary summercamps.  We'd like to inform you about some science summer camps around the country.  Hopefully, there are some in your area.

• Destination Science - (http://www.destinationscience.org/index.php) Destination Science offers science camps in the southern California, northern California and Florida regions.  Visit their site for more information about their science summer camps.  This year's available topics are: "Busting Myths with Cool Science", "Robots vs Aliens", "G Force Rockets and Moon Blasters" and "Fizz! Bang! Pop! Flash!"
• National Youth Science Camp - (http://www.nysc.org) This organization offers an excellent program.  The only catch...you need to appointed to the camp via a selection process headed by the governor of your state!  Obviously this science summercamp is not for everyone.
• Science Camp Watonka - (http://www.watonka.com) This is the only boys science camp accredited by the American Camping Association.  Situated in rural Pennsylvania, the camp runs a well respected program.
