How to make a 3D plant cell for a school project
did you get any info. my sons project is due next week and i'm in the dark. any info would be helpful.

It really works.
Recently my daughter had to do this assignment I didn't wnat to do the same thing like using eggs or jello so I bought a large bag of multi colored starburst and using the different colors I melted each one in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds. then molded and shaped them into the nucleus and so forth. Not only was it fun but her friends and her couldn't wait to eat it. It came out better than I expected and we had fun doing it together.
My daughter is doing the plant cell project and I've been looking for other idea's beside the jello project. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I'm also looking for picture's of projects for her to get any idea's. Her project is due next week :

what did you use for the cytoplasm? I was thinking gelatine but I dont know if that would be firm enough to stay together.

well it all depends on the materials that your son had used. he can easly say that he used a small ball for the membrain of the cell beacause the membrain of a cell is round. one thing im not so sure about is what type of cell is it? is it a plant or an animal cell?

use a sandwedge bag and make up some wallpaper paste put a ping pong ball in the bag and tie it up there is the perfect cell
