Soda loses its carbonation faster in a hotter environment than a cold one because of the expanding of the atoms/particles. :)

Ok. I have to do a science fair project, but we're doing it in like "scientific method" sort of way, where your question must be testable. I WAS going to use "Can you switch an animal cell with a plant cell, and still have them live?", but that isn't testable with the supplies and time I have. I was thinking about the "Who's mouth is cleaner; a dog or Human?", but i love the study of cells, and wanted to do a project on sumthing that had to do with cells. Is there a question that is testable (within like 4 weeks) that i could do for cells? Or should i just use the dog/human mouth one???

Hello Travismyangel9. I know it can be frustrating to create good science fair projects, but the goal of this site is not to simply create step by step instructions to follow. A good project depends on your own creativity in solving a problem.
We will occasionally post a step by step solution to a project, such as that for the "whose mouth is cleaner" project. We post the steps though, because this is a difficult project that not many people would be able to simply figure out on their own.
Many of the ideas here are just starting points. Using your own problem solving skills and own solutions will result in a more original and satisfying project in the end.
Keep thinking!

how did you get the steps for the experiment
coolio i like these ideas
Hi there! It seems like some people are having trouble understanding how to turn these ideas into finished projects. The ice cube project is actually quite simple to carry out.
Check back in a day or two for a step by step how-to article on testing the rate of ice cube melting.

al should make up some easyer projects cause theses are to hard
I like the one about ice cube shape affecting melting. That seems easy to test! Thanks

Hey everyone!
I've tried one science experiment last year and made it in 3rd place. Well it's better than nothing.
My topic was what size string will allow a salt crystal to form on it faster in 6 days? A thin or thick string?
The purpouse of this experiment is to classify wiether a salt crystal can form in a thin or thicker enviorment.
It's really quite easy. Just google "how to make a salt crytal" and when using string choose a thin and thick string to conduct the experiment. And the rest I think is quite easy for you to find. Hope it helped. :)
by the way I'm using the "how does a cloud form? And is it possible to make one?"
I googled it, and it is possible to make a cloud. So I'm all set. Thanks :)
